Cardboard Strips

Description

Cardboard strips or tacking strips are used primarily in upholstery. They come packaged in 10’s and are usually 12mm wide and 1 meter long.

Cardboard strips are used when upholstering furniture and chairs, usually on the outside arms and along the top back. It can also be used on the sides of piping to ensure that it stays in place once the fabric is stapled or glued in place. Taking strips create a clean edge in your fabric, neatening any areas where the fabric may not fold over well.

To create clean and neat edging in furniture.
